No racing, just riding, for eligible PRE-1994 Motorcycles & upright speedway bikes

Road Race- Road Bike- Dirt Track- Speedway- Motocross-Trials- Enduro

Gates open to public Friday 7am, concludes at @2pm Easter Sunday

 PN: Camping prior to Friday night will need to be arranged with Motorcycling Victoria, please call into the MV office on arrival.

Full or zipped together leathers MUST be worn on the road race track- No exceptions!

ALL unregistered bike are not permitted to be ridden around the MV complex unless you are commuting to your entered event via set transit lane's WITHIN THE MV COMPLEX

ROAD BIKE RIDERS please note: Due to the limited grid places, only 1 grid position will be allocated per rider/per class. Road Bikes are not permitted in the Road Race Classes / Road Race bikes are not permitted in the Road Bike Classes. Enter on the day places may not be accepted due to limited grid positions.

Riders Sign In: Road Race: In the blue scrutineer sheds at the road race garages

                           Motocross, Enduro, Trials: Main Front office outside the MX tower

                           Speedway, Dirt Track: Next to the speedway canteen

Pre-Entered - You will be issued with 1, Rider wrist band (must be worn to enter any track) 2, White security ID stickers (go on the front left-hand fork of your bike) 3, A yellow oval sticker (for the bikes front number plate/headlight matches the programme) The office staff will advise you where to put each sticker and answer any questions you may have. ID stickers and rider wrist bands are to remain on you and your bike until after you leave the complex, for security reasons they will be checked.

On the day rider entries: You will need to purchase an Entry band at the gate then proceed to the appropriate discipline office with your entry band for the rest of the entry process. The cost of your entry will be deducted of your rider entry fee. Note, your name will not be included in the program

Camping: Motorhomes will be sent to Rudge Ridge, straight up Elizabeth St to the flattest, highest point in the complex. We are assuming you have shower facilities as there are only M/F toilets near the intersection of Honda Highway. Road racers/riders with bikes will be directed past the Road Circuit pits and up the gravel extension of the bitumen on Honda Highway, M/F toilets and showers are near the Veterans Café. The scramble, and enduro crowd will be along the front of the complex, the MX and Mini bike clan will be at the bottom of the MX track, and the Speedway/Dirt track riders will be camping in their usual spot.
No bunting will be permitted to section off camp sites pre-event or during the event.

Riding around the complex: You can only use your bike to commute between tracks if it is Club Permit, Recreational, Historic or fully road registered, or a dirt bike using the transit lanes, for safety reasons the following rules apply: A HELMET MUST BE WORN ALWAYS while riding your bike NO RIDING AT NIGHT and NO unregistered PIT BIKES! NOT following the rules will result in the rider being evicted from the event.

Club/Trade displays: are encouraged to set up Thursday or Friday morning, as we predict a lot of activity on the Friday as indicated by our camping data. Please be prepared for the hard ground and bring a spade to redirect water if it rains.

Swap Meet Vendors: you can choose your location: Location 1 will be located near the MV front office or at the MX sheds with power and shelter. Please bring your own shelter if required for the grassed area. Happy selling & buying.

Alcohol: Will be for sale on site in the road race cafeteria and the speedway track. Respect the alcohol exclusion zone around the canteen while riding is going on. BYO welcome. PLEASE BE REMINDED RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING may occur at this event before you are permitted to ride on any track during the event.

Food: At the track, TT Trackside Takeaway will be open from 7am to late each day. Canteens located around the complex for a delicious range of hot and cold food and drink, Bar open each evening, Dinner available Friday and Saturday night.

Town services: Broadford has a Supermarket, Milk Bar, Pharmacy, Butcher, Pub, a Petrol Station (serves a 98 and 95 RON oils and diesel), ATM and Police Station. The closest Motorcycle shop is in Seymour or Wallan.

Campfires: We don’t have permits for campfires, however a campfire in a large drum only may be permitted, please check at the event (weather depending).

SIBBB merchandise: Will be for sale at the Road Racetrack. SIBBB programs: Will be available at the front gate or check in office free of charge.

Riding gearWe require full leathers on the road circuit for all participants; plus, gloves, eye protection, riding boots etc. Helmets must meet minimum standards AS 1698 or any other standard accepted by MA. Dirt riders, likewise, wear the best you’ve got (but it must meet minimum MA standards) as a refusal to have you on the track will offend.  NO HELMET CAMERAS ALLOWED.

Scrutineering: Your bike will be checked by our experienced officials before you participate in a track session; and if it is determined to be a danger to you and others you must park it. (Unless the fault is easily remedied and resubmitted for examination). Oil on the road track is a real concern and this will be policed entering and exiting the track.

Riders Briefing: There will be a road rider briefing at 11am on Friday and 8.00 at the Scrutineering shed in the RR Pits on Saturday and Sunday. MX, speedway, enduro riders briefing will be at the track entrance before the start of riding Saturday at 8am.

Start times: It would be wise to be at the circuit at least an hour prior to your riding time. The first ride session starts Friday at 12 noon (Road Racetrack only) The rest of the tracks will open Saturday morning at 9am. Sunday riding 9am to 2pm. An evening Speedway Spectacular will be held between 4pm to 6:00pm Saturday evening at the speedway track

Shuttle buses: The buses will operate from 9am to 6pm (Sat) 9am to 3pm (Sun)around the complex.

Main gate opening time: Gates open Thursday 8.00am for interstate travellers only. This is outside of the BBB’s track hire period. If you are camping before Friday night you will need to pay for camping at the MV office. Gates will close at 11pm each day. The front gate will remain shut and controlled by security Friday and Saturday nights.

Noise: As a noisy sport, we are always under threat. Even in the haven of the State Motorcycle Complex the BBB will have constant recordings of overall noise levels which are reported directly to the Mitchell Shire Council and then to specific residents. If your bike is judged as too loud by any official, you will have to park it and it becomes an instant static display. No riding fee refunds apply. The only special exemption negotiated with the residents is for two fifteen-minute sessions for the road race star sessions.                   DO NOT TEST RIDE YOUR BIKE ALONG THE BITUMEN ROAD!

Enduro/Vinduro riders: riding will be through the rolling hills behind the Gun Club the same as the 2019 event. You will be welcome on the MX GP track and MX bikes are allowed on the Enduro track.

Saturday Night Dinner with the Stars: Will be back at the Mitchell shire hall this year. Tickets limited to 120. Enjoy a 2-course smorgasbord roast dinner and deserts, with our guest stars as you enjoy hearing all the antics from their racing days. Our MC will drive a spectacular night of stories and entertainment as a star-studded line up chat openly about their riding days. Bar open. Transit Lanes: Are specifically for dirt bikes – transit lanes to the dirt tracks to keep you off the roads. Use them!

‘Bitumen for Broadford’ MV Medallion holders: get 1 free spectator entry. Rider and camping costs still apply. 

Don’t forget, we’re here to have a good time. Thanks to the MA staff, members of the Museum and Heritage Committee and all our amazing volunteers who give up their valuable time over Easter to ensure you have a great weekend.


And persons attending the State Motorcycle Sports Complex, Broadford do so entirely at their own risk.
It is a condition of entry that all persons having connection with the promotion and/or conduct of this meeting, including the owners of this land and the riders and owners of the vehicles and the passengers in the vehicles, are absolved from all liability arising out of accidents causing damage or personal injury to spectators or ticket holders except where due care and attention have not been exercised.

Animals are not permitted at the track’s (Guide Dogs Excluded)
Tickets remains the property of Motorcycling Australia and any misuse or misconduct will result in penalties and immediate eviction from the event. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
