Top End Road Race Association (TERRA) will be hosting a Ride Park Day at Hidden Valley Raceway on Wednesday 15th July commencing 0800.

Members of the public and club members are invited to attend this inaugural event hosted by TERRA.

 NO club membership or licence is required.

This is a non competition event designed to provide an opportunity to the public to ride and experience the Hidden Valley Raceway and meet members of the TERRA.

 The track will be open to all two wheel bike enthusiasts looking to ride in a fun non-competitive environment. Any form of motorcycle is eligible to participate in the event, however the machine should be in sound condition with good tyres and brakes.

SPECTATORS are ALLOWED under COVID-19 restrictions, please remember social distancing practices of 1.5mtrs and if you UNWELL do not enter the complex!

  • ENTRY COST $100 per non TERRA member and $50.00 for TERRA members. All - per individual rider.
  • YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HOLD AN MA ANNUAL LICENCE NOR PURCHASE A ONE EVENT LICENCE FOR RIDE PARK AUSTRALIA EVENTS
  • You must Register via Ridernet. - When doing so - YOU WILL RECEIVE A POP UP BOX ASKING 'DO YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A ONE EVENT LICENCE' - CLICK 'NOT AT THIS TIME'. - Do not purchase a license.
  • One Event Licences are NOT required for Ride Parks Australia Events. Do not purchase a One Event License.
  • Ride Park Australia events are open to all members of the public wishing to have a track experience. 

Gates open at 0800.

  • Riding sessions will be approx. 15 mins with limited amount of riders per experience on the track at one time.
  • Riders are responsible to be in good riding gear and have competent equipment.
  • Groups will be created depending on skills and experience. Groups arranged on the day.
  • Riders will be briefed
  • Final logistics determined on the day.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING minimum requirements: **
• Helmet – Any of the following approved standards is acceptable. AS1698, Snell, JIS, FIM, ECE.
• Clothing - Gloves, long sleeve jacket of good strong quality and long pants. Leather or equivalent is recommended. Dragon jeans or equivalent recommended

  • Back protector is recommended
  • Good quality boots ***
  •  Eye protection - visor/gogglres

** Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider.

- be constructed of leather or other similarly durable material; and
- be of a length which must at least overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.


For the purpose of this event:

  • Novice (Beginner): This group is for riders that include participants possibly new to motorcycle riding.
  • Intermediate: This group is for those who have sound motorcycle ability but possibly not ridden on tracks before. As with all groups, the intermediate group participation should be based on ability regardless of age.
  • Advanced: The advanced group is ideal for those who frequent ride parks and possibly hold or have held a competition licence.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

The current COVID-19 plan for the club will see no food or beverages being supplied - all people accessing the event will need to bring water, drinks and food and take their rubbish home.

Social distancing practices of 1.5mtrs and if you are UNWELL do not enter the complex.

Toilets will be open and regularly cleaned.

You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitiser. Sanitiser will be set up for use on entry and exit of toilets. Soap will be available at the toilets.
