The Beach Motorcycle Races held at picturesque Grasstree Beach 35 minutes’ drive, south of Mackay in Central Queensland. This event is one of the oldest motorcycle events in Australia starting around 1926 in the Mackay region and is the only competitive motorcycle beach race of its kind in Australia. The race attracts around 250 riders, from all around Australia and draws about 5000 spectators to the event.
