The Mud n Tars Motorcycle Club, hereafter called the PROMOTER will conduct Parawa Motocross Series for Senior Solo, Junior Solo Machine at the Parawa Motocross Track, on Sunday 16th May and Sunday 1st August 2021.
2.1. The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling SA Inc which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number TBA & TBA and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia National, One Event Competition and Demo licences.
2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s), these Supplementary Regulations, and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling SA Inc.
BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
3.1. Entries open forthwith and riders are encouraged to enter online in advance. Entries will close on the day at 8:00am
3.2. In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the Mud n Tars Motorcycle club, if such retention is approved by Motorcycling SA Inc.
3.3. Only entries received on the official entry form that is accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted.
3.4. NOTE:- LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND THE RETURN OF ENTRY FEES FOR ANY RIDER WITHDRAWING FROM THE MEETING IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE Promoter.
4.1. National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability.
4.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
4.3 IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKLY BENEFITS INSURANCE.
5. MEDICAL SERVICES:
Event Medical Plus will be in attendance at all events.
6.1. Senior Solos: $60 online, $70 on the day.
Junior Solos: $50 online, $60 on the day.

6.3. Money Orders are to be made payable to the Mud n Tars Motorcycle Club. ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT.

Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each Series Round. (All Demo Entries will receive a participation ribbon of equal value). Riders must compete in both rounds of Series to receive end of Series Trophies.
10.1 To constitute a class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each class shall be 5 for Solos or at the discretion of the PROMOTER.
10.2 Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards, will be at the discretion of the club [or promoter - whichever is applicable], subject to Motorcycling SA Inc. approval. Event classes that proceed with fewer than the minimum number of contestants per 10.1 will not be eligible for a Championship Title.
Seniors --3 laps of practice, 3 Rounds of 5 Laps. Juniors –3 laps of practice, 3 Rounds of 4 laps. Demo 50cc 3 Lap sessions. Time allowing (points allocated on completed rounds). For the Senior Final Race of The ‘Slur’, riders chosen will be the 10 top finishing in MX1 & MX2, then the fastest from all other Senior Classes. It will be a 30 minute race event.
12.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Motocross competition.
12.2. Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of competition is not permitted.
12.3. Change of machine may be permitted up to 10 minutes prior to the start of the event in which substitution machine is required. Provided that written notice is given to, and approval given by the MSA Steward. The substitute must have been passed at machine examination.
A riders’ briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing, which ALL competitors MUST attend. Details will be included in the final instructions.
15.1 All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA and MSA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency and the Motorcycling SA Drug and Alcohol Policy.
15.2 If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, tel 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at the Motorcycling SA Inc. discretion until the results of the tests are known.
17 CODE OF CONDUCT:
All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia by-law - CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCRs), which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this Meeting and will be enforced.
LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. CAMPING AT THE TRACK IS ALLOWED SAT PM.

For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be 7:30 AM with the completion of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the venue.
The track consists of natural terrain or man-made jumps, berms, table-top and straights, racing in an anti clockwise direction.
30 and 5 second boards and drop-back gates.

Important Information for Junior Riders:
higher class when he/she becomes eligible to do so during the year, but once a rider moves to the higher age class in
any competition, he/she may not go back to the lower age class. Points earned in a lower age class will not transfer to
the higher class. This rule will apply to all riders up to and including 16 years old.

Competitors may be required to undergo a static noise test during the event.
No person may compete in any event on a machine whose emissions exceed the limits as noted in General Competition Rules
If a machine fails it can be presented for re-testing several times.
The Goods and Services Tax affects the payment of prizemoney. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 48.5% of prizemoney over $50.00 which is otherwise payable to you. Please tick one of the boxes on the entry form and if appropriate provide your ABN to ensure the full amount of prize money is paid to you.
22.1 Presentation to be held as soon as practical after racing finishes.
22.2 Catering and Toilet facilities at venue.
22.3 The Slur feature race will be a 30 minute moto at the end of the day.
22.4 No open toed shoes allowed in the pits.
22.5 No dogs allowed anywhere at this venue (except Guide Dogs). Fines will apply
22.6 NO ALCOHOL and NO SMOKING permitted in pits. Fines will apply.
22.7 Dumping of fuel or oils on the ground are prohibited. Fines will apply.
22.8 Enviro Mats must be used when re fuelling.
FUEL TESTING MAY BE CARRIED OUT AT ANY TIME DURING THIS EVENT, as per General Competition Rules
ALL RIDERS WILL SUPPLY AN ABLE-BODIED PERSON OVER 16 YEARS TO DO A FLAG SHIFT, CANTEEN OR OFFICIAL DUTY. **NO FLAG MARSHALLS= NO RACING**
