Darwin Motor Cycle Club will be hosting a Ride Park Day on Sunday 31st May at Cox Peninsula Road. The track will be open to all two wheel dirt bike enthusiasts looking to ride in a fun non-competitive environment. NO club membership or licence is required.
Please be advised that under the current COVID-19 restrictions each rider will ONLY be able to have one person accompany them into the complex.
Gates open at 8am, riding sessions will commence from 10am with groups of riders released at a time. *** Please be patient in waiting for your turn as this is a learning experience for all involved.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING minimum requirements: **• Helmet – Any of the following approved standards is acceptable. AS1698, Snell, JIS, FIM, ECE.• Clothing - Gloves, long sleeve jersey and long pants• Body Armour - Recommended for Junior riders• Off-road Boots ***• Goggles/eye protection
** Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider.
*** - be constructed of leather or other similarly durable material; and- be of a length which must at least overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.
For the purpose of this event:
The current COVID-19 plan for the club will see no food or beverages being supplied - all people accessing the club will need to bring water, drinks and food and take their rubbish home.
Social distancing practices of 1.5mtrs and if you are UNWELL do not enter the complex.
Wash bays will be closed at the moment due to high touch restrictions though toilets will be open and regularly cleaned.
You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitiser. Sanitiser will be set up for use on entry and exit of toilets. Soap will be available at the toilets.
