Ride Park Day Personal Accident Insurance is available (Optional) for riders who would like to take it out.

Ride Park Days Personal Accident Insurance costs $15.00 per rider per day.

**MA Annual Licence holders pay the same riding fees but are covered under the

MA Personal Accident Scheme with their Annual Licence,

therefore they are not required to purchase the additional PA. **

 PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIRED BY ALL RIDERS:

Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider

  • Helmet - Any of the following approved standards is acceptable. AS1698, Snell, JIS, FIM, ECE.
  • Clothing - Gloves, long sleeve jersey and long pants
  • Body Armour - Highly Recommended for Junior Riders but not compulsory
  • Off-road Boots (Must be constructed of leather or similarly durable material and be of a length which must at least overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.
  • Goggles / eye protection                                                                                                                                                             

MATCHED ABILITY:

Riders will be sorted on the day into groups of similar riding ability.                                                       

  As a rough guide only, when entering the event, please indicate the riders ability as listed below.                                                              Groups will vary and may change on the day. The Club will place riders in a group which is most suited their ability against other riders on the day. This will ensure safety for all involved as well as giving all riders fair riding time.

  • Beginner - This group is for riders that includes children and participants possibly new to motorcycle racing. It's to be managed at an appropriate speed to cater for the youngest or most novice of riders.
  • Intermediate - This group is for those who have sound motorcycle ability but possibly not ridden on tracks before. As with all groups, the intermediate group participation should be based on ability regardless of age.
  • Advanced -  The advanced group is ideal for those who frequent ride parks and possibly hold or have held a competition licence. Riders who are competent with ruts, berms, whoops and jumps.

FIRST AID:

First Aid services will be in attendance on the day should any participants require medical attention.

TRACK MANAGEMENT:

  • Junior and Senior riders may ride together. The Ride Park Manager has the authority to remove any rider from the track who is deemed to be riding recklessly, or putting other riders' safety at risk, or whose behaviour falls short of the expected standards set out in the RPD Guidelines.
  • To comply with Ride Park Days non-competitive status, venues must not use a mass start, or time / score riders in any way which will determine a finish order, and no award for performance can be given.

YOUNG MOTORCYCLE CLUB - VENUE SPECIFIC INFORMATION

*No animals (except for an approved Guide / Assistance Dog) may be bought onto the Property known as "Bunyarra". This is privately owned Land and noted in the Landowners Lease Agreement. If any animals are found, they will be required to leave the Property immediately.

*No tear offs are to be worn at any events run by The Young Motorcycle Club. All Riders must adhere to this Rule. This is Privately owned Land.

*All Persons entering the Property will be asked to put their rubbish in the bins provided. Cattle will graze the land in between Race Meets.

 *All Riders - NOTE: No riding of any machines / bikes outside of the track. Bikes must be pushed through the pits and in the car park area. Any Rider not adhering to this Rule will be asked to pack up their bikes and gear and leave the venue.

*No Open Fires are to be lit.

*No shower facilities are at the track, but full toilet amenities are available.

*No Camping at the track under any circumstances. Young has a range of accommodation available in the Town suitable for all budgets.

*Running water is available at the track but NOT suitable for drinking or cooking use.

*No smoking around Canteen area, pit area etc. Please take note of NO Smoking Signs which are hanging around the facilities. Butts must be picked up. No Smoking Rules apply to the Facility in accordance with MA Rules.

*Enclosed Footwear MUST always be worn in the pit area. This includes Riders, Pit Crew, Visitors, Officials and anyone else.
