Welcome to Western Districts Trials Club's Club Championship series round two.
With this being our first event back after the lifting of restrictions, and with The State Government only having allowed competition within the last couple of days we need to be very vigilant in complying with the MQ Covid Safe Industry Plan, and with The Qld Government Health requirements.
We will have an attendance register and everyone entering the site, whether rider, support person, official, or whatever, will be required to be logged into the register. There will be several health related questions asked. If you have been in contact with a known Covid case, or have been feeling unwell, please stay at home. If you have entered the event, and can't make it please let us know and a refund will be arranged.
In National and State and Championships and serious competition there are separate classes based on gender, separate classes based on age, and separate classes based on type or age of machine. For our club trials all of those are simply all included and would ride the lines that they would normally ride, and compete against any others of similar ability.
For those who are just starting out or are unfamiliar with our classes, Trial 6 is suitable for our youngest riders on their small bikes, or for adults who are just beginning. Trial 5 is suitable for those who have just basic bike skills. The level of difficulty increases through the classes up to Trial 1 which is challenging even for the very best riders, and beyond the skills of most. The Minibike class refers only to those riders who have a mini bike licence (for 4 to 9 year olds and non-competitive only). Riders 7 and up may get a competition (or recreational) licence and enter as a junior in the competition but may still choose to ride the machine that we call mini bike.
