Top End Motocross Club will be hosting a Ride Park Day on Friday 23th July 2021 at the Campbell Park MX Complex located in Palmerston.
Main MX and Mini Bike Track will be open to all dirt bike enthusiasts looking to ride in a fun non-competitive environment.
Mini MX track will be open from 9:00am to 4:00pm Friday and the Main MX track from 9:00am to 9:00pm (under lights from around 6:30pm on Friday Night)
NO club membership or licence is required. ENTRY COST:
Friday: $60 per individual rider or $180 per family (2 adults and 2 children)
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HOLD AN MA ANNUAL LICENCE NOR PURCHASE A ONE EVENT LICENCE FOR RIDE PARK AUSTRALIA EVENTSIF YOU RECEIVE A POP UP BOX ASKING 'DO YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A ONE EVENT LICENCE' - CLICK NOT AT THIS TIME.One Event Licences are NOT required for Ride Parks Australia Events. Do not purchase a One Event License:Ride Park Australia events are open to all members of the public wishing to have a track experience. Gates open at 9:00am, riding sessions will be 15-20 mins with limited amount of riders per level of experience on the track at one time. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING minimum requirements: **• Helmet – Any of the following approved standards is acceptable. AS1698, Snell, JIS, FIM, ECE.• Clothing - Gloves, long sleeve jersey and long pants• Body Armour - Recommended for Junior riders• Off-road Boots ***• Goggles/eye protection** Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider.*** - be constructed of leather or other similarly durable material; and- be of a length which must at least overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.For the purpose of this event:Novice (Beginner): This group is for riders that include children, parents and participants possibly new to motorcycle riding.Intermediate: This group is for those who have sound motorcycle ability but possibly not ridden on tracks before. As with all groups, the intermediate group participation should be based on ability regardless of age.Advanced: The advanced group is ideal for those who frequent ride parks and possibly hold or have held a competition licence.
TERRITORY CHECK IN QR CODE SYSTEM IS IN PLACE AT TEMCC COMPLEX, ENSURE YOU CHECK IN BEFORE ENTERING THE COMPLEX!
Social distancing practices of 1.5mtrs and if you are UNWELL do not enter the complex.You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitiser. Sanitiser will be set up for use on entry and exit of toilets.
