Western Districts Trials Club proudly presents another WDTC Midweek Club Trial.
This year we are continuing to run what has now become a tradition for us to cater for the weekend workers, the retired, the unemployed and under employed, the RDO entitled, and anyone else who can make it. We've planned to have one on each weekday scattered throughout the year to cover the 5 weekdays.
These midweek trials are as low key and laid back as you can get while still being a competition. Riders can be as competitive or as relaxed and informal as they choose.
We are intending to use the same sections that we will have used at the previous club trial, but we are asking anyone who can get there early to help with altering the sections (minor changes) so that they can be ridden differently.
For those who are just starting out or are unfamiliar with our classes, Trial 6 is what we used to call "introductory". It is suitable for our youngest riders on their small bikes, or for adults who are just beginning. Trial 5 is suitable for those who have just basic bike skills. The level of difficulty increases through the classes up to Trial 2 which is challenging even for the very best riders, and well beyond the skills of most. The Minibike class refers only to those riders who have a mini bike licence (for 4 to 9 year olds and non-competitive only). Riders 7 and up may get a competition (or recreational) licence and enter as a junior in the competition but may still choose to ride the machine that we call mini bike.
We prefer entries to be done before the event in Ridernet, but we will also accept entries on the day.
Government health directives may change at any time. We will be watching for, and will comply with any such changes. If you have been in contact with a known or suspected Covid case, or have been feeling unwell, please stay at home. If you have entered the event and can't make it please let us know and a refund will be arranged.
