1. ANNOUNCEMENT
The Western Region MX Committee hereinafter called the PROMOTER, will conduct the Western Region MX Series at all Venues listed below on there due dates.
2. JURISDICTION
All above mentioned meetings have been authorized by Motorcycling Victoria (MV) and will be held in accordance with the General Competition Rules (GCR’s) of Motorcycling Australia (MA), the by-laws of MV, these Supplementary Regulations and any final instructions issued by the stewards of the meeting.
BY ENTERING THESE MEETING’S ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
3. ENTRIES
Entries will be accepted forthwith from current MA License holders endorsed for National Senior or Junior competition license holders.
Current club membership card must be produced at sign in. NO EXCEPTIONS.
One event licenses (OEL) must be purchased online when entering the event. Entries for this series are to be done online VIA: www.ridernet.com.au.
Entry cost: $65 first bike (includes flagmarshall fee), $35 second bike.
Entries close at 8.00pm on the Tuesday night leading up to the event.
Late entries will cost an extra $20.00 (and will close Thursday night at 8.00pm) Note Junior endorsements need to be kept up to date.
Interstate and Enduro riders please note the following clause in Victorian Motocross Policies and Procedures:
Interstate competitors competing in the Western region series are graded to A grade, unless the ability of the rider is known to the promoter, however if the competitor or competitor representative request a lower grade, this is possible but they must be made aware that the Promoter reserves the right to regrade them at any time during the series and any points earned within that time will not be transferable.
Enduro riders are to be graded to B grade, however if the competitor or competitor representative requests a higher/lower grade, this is possible but they must be made aware that the Promoter reserves the right to regrade them at any time during the series and any points earned within that time will not be transferable.
The Promoter reserves the right to regrade riders at any time during the series and any points earned within that time will not be transferable.
There will be no dual grading. The riders’ ability is graded and not the bike size.

5. MEDICAL SERVICES.
The Series will have Paramedics (Medical Response) in attendance for the entirety of all conducted events.
6. SIGN IN
Scruitineering / Indemnity form must be filled in and presented along with your helmet at sign in 7.00am – 8.00am on event date morning
(RND 1~3: Juniors Saturday:Seniors Sunday). Rnd 4 ~ Senior Sunday only Rnd 5 ~ Junior Sunday Rnd 6: Juniors Saturday:Seniors Sunday) and the final Rnd 7 is ran combined over both Saturday and Sunday.
Any changes will be conveyed in a Final instructions email sent out if needed.
7. RIDERS BRIEFING
Will be done over the PA system, All riders MUST be in a position to hear it clearly. As attendance at the Riders Briefing is compulsory. The Riders Briefing will take place at 8:10am
8. MINIMUM ENTRIES
6 Solo entries to constitute a class. Grades may be combined with higher or lower grade if insufficient entries are received to constitute a class. The promoter reserves the right to cancel / combine classes at its discretion.
9. CORNER DUTY
Flagging will be supplied by the host club.
10. TRANSPONDERS
Are compulsory to race, Either rent, buy or borrow. (No transponder No race).
11. PIT BOARDS
Can only be used in senior races only at the track position location appointed by the Hosting club if asked for at riders briefing.
12. MACHINE EXAMINATIUON
All machines must comply with the 2021 GCR’s the self scruitineering from must be presented at the same time as stated for sign in times.
13. AWARDS
Junior 1st, 2nd & 3rd round place ribbons will presented for collection at the next round. Trophies will be given to the top 3 place positions in each
class from the series progressive points system at the final round of this MX series. Must compete in at least 3 of the 6 rounds’ to be eligible,
14. CAMPING
Is available at each Rnd conducted, ($10 per night per Car/Trailer)
15. CODE OF CONDUCT
All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law – CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the 2021 GCR’s) which is a guide to appropriate behavior at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this meeting and will be enforced.
16. TIMETABLE FOR EVENT
Riders Briefing 8:10am
Racing Starts 8:30 Racing Concludes 5:00pm or at the Stewards discretion.
17. JUNIOR AGE
A juniors age on January 1st 2022 will determine his/her age for entry of competition that year. A rider may move to a higher class when he/she becomes eligible to do so at the time after their birth date. Riders can not return back to the lower age class once he/she has made the decision to move up. Class positions may be lost during the series accordingly.
18. VETS CLASSES
A VETS age on January 1st 2022 will determine his/her age for entry of competition that year, in the 30 to 39 age group grading level of ‘C’ Grade being Clubman, ‘A’ & ‘B’ Grades being Expert riders. Riders can move up class due to age or grading positions.
40 and over is now the MASTERS class no grading will be relevant
19. RACING PROGRAME: RND 1
Juniors:
50 and 65, 8 minutes plus 1 lap.
85SW and 85BW, 10 minutes plus 1 lap.
125 and 250, 12 minutes plus 1 lap.
Seniors:
All C grade classes including Vets and Women 12 minutes plus 1 lap.
A & B grades will be 14 minutes plus 1 lap.

GENERAL
It is conditional upon acceptance of this entry that it is fully understood by the rider/entrant/parent/guardian to arrange personal injury and ambulance transportation insurance cover in case you should require the same during the running of this competition.
RIDERS INSURANCE: The Motorcycling Australia Insurance Scheme provides: As per 2022 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.
